The Homebrew Company started as a dream of Dennis Tuck, an avid beer and wine maker who quit his government job to open this business. His idea was to provide customers with the freshest ingredients, state of the art equipment, as well as excellent customer service. His commitment to spreading the homebrewing and winemaking word through education was evident from his free monthly classes in both beer and winemaking, which were both fun and informative. Customers came to buy from The Homebrew Company because of our friendly, knowledgeable staff and our excellent product selection.

When Dennis began this online project, he pledged to give our Internet-customers the same quality service that in-store customers received. We want you to hold us to that pledge. In the spring of 2004, due to health concerns, Dennis Tuck decided that he could no longer maintain the rigorous physical requirements that he felt were necessary to provide each of you with the fast, efficient service you had come to expect and deserve and decided to sell the business to Jacqui Milford and Matt Pruszynski, owners of America’s Hobby House, also a homebrew and winemaking supply store in the Kent area. Dennis believed that we would not let you down and we are determined to maintain the quality of service that each of you is used to and expect from the Homebrew Company.
